This is going to be an exciting week of food! Garden green beans are ready to harvest, and the Italian basil is ready to be harvested for the first batch of pesto of the season! It is hot and humid, so we’re kicking off the week with Rebecca’s favorite chilled gazpacho recipe, with lots of garnishes.
Also, school is out, so I’ll have more time to cook more time-consuming (and fun) dishes on weeknights. As I write this, Rebecca is studying Mastering the Art of French Cooking, by Julia Child to pick out a recipe for Friday and Saturday of this week.
