We’re getting ready for a week of chilly weather in Charleston, SC, and by special request, this week’s theme is comfort food. The kind that warms you from the inside out. My favorite! We’ll certainly not be experiencing anything like the “snowpocalypse” that is currently wreaking havoc in Boston and points north, but c’mon. It’ll be like 28 degrees here at night. Pity me!
This week also features a first attempt (General Tso’s Broccoli), an old favorite (Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Galette), and even a church supper. So, a little bit of everything.
Sprout update: Napa cabbage, broccoli, dinosaur kale, Cherokee Purple tomatoes, Black Cherry tomatoes, and Yellow Brandywine tomatoes.
