The blog was on hiatus for a couple of weeks while Rebecca and I spent time in Northern Michigan with her family. In a cottage build in 1870, Rebecca and I spent the majority of our time enjoying the piney ambiance, drinking coffee in varying degrees of strength, watching our nephew toddle around, sailing, reading, and dominating some tricky puzzles. Time slowed down in the way that you hope it will on vacation. After that, a few days in Ohio before returning to Charleston.
